So it is clear that blogging is not for everyone! (AKA: me, since I haven't posted in nearly 2 years.)
I was struggling during college to find time between sorority events, illness, studying, volunteering at the Childrens Hospital, working part time, friends/boys, and maintaining a blog. A lot happened over the past 2 years, and I'm sad to say that this blog did not stay afloat during that time since I had so many other commitments.
However, I am now a college graduate and alumnae of the University of Kentucky (and Kappa Delta Sorority). I am going to be starting graduate school in the fall, but I am back to write this blog! In the disciplines I have studied, I have found that being supportive and kind to everyone is a great form of therapy and happiness--which can lead to greater confidence. That is what I want this blog to be about, and I think it is important that I talk to people about alopecia, and how to turn negatives into positives.
This blog is mainly going to be about promoting confidence in all people, as well as being informative on alopecia and my story/treatment with alopecia. I hope that you all will stick along for the ride and forgive me for my absence, I look forward to hearing from you all very soon!
Ps: My goal is to blog once every 2 weeks at first! I would love to do Q&A posts, steps to become more confident, how to style hair with alopecia, my updated treatment, and more. If you ever have suggestions or need to chat my email is still firstname.lastname@example.org
